Application Process 

Follow the steps below to enroll in Adam Smith University programs. 

  1. Complete an application online or by email. 
    • Apply online. The online application process is simplified to reduce processing time. The online application can be accessed from our Web site, http://www.adamsmith.edu. Applicants can indicate the program level and discipline area on the online application form. 
    • Apply by email. Contact an enrollment advisor any day of the year (except holidays) by emailing admissions@adamsmith.edu. The admissions counselor will guide you through the admissions process. 
  2. Within 48 hours of receiving the completed enrollment application, Adam Smith will provide instructions for online access to the first course. Course materials such as eBooks are immediately accessible in the course. If the course includes a physical textbook, it will be shipped to the student address.
  3. For students who are enrolling in our Prison Education program, an individual representing the student may enroll on their behalf. Upon receipt of application Adam Smith University and within 48 hours of acceptance, Adam Smith University will send the course materials to the incarcerated student.

Enrollment Agreement 

The Enrollment Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legally binding contract when physically or electronically signed by the student and accepted by Adam Smith at its offices in Trinidad and Tabago. The agreement is governed by Trinidad and Tobago law. By accepting the agreement the student indicates that he or she has read and understood the terms of the Agreement, accepted the terms of the agreement, and believes that he/she has the ability to benefit from the course selected. Regardless of the method of signature, the signature forms a binding signature. Prospective students are encouraged to read through the catalog and materials prior to enrolling. The tuition shown on the enrollment agreement is valid for the period of time and/or number of courses selected. Shipments of course materials will be suspended when a signed enrollment agreement has not been received or if the student does not remain current on tuition per the agreement.
