About Ruth Ann Flippin

Ruth Ann Flippin is a single mother of two who worked hard to earn her degree. She is all about business when she needs to be, but still likes to have fun. She has worked in a variety of industries, including as a phlebotomist for several years. In that career, she’d conduct health fairs at various colleges across Missouri. She came to work for Adam Smith University because she has a passion for encouraging students that would find it difficult to attend a traditional university to find a flexible path to earn their degree.

Ruth Ann Flippin's Role

The mission of the Registrar’s Office is to foster student academic progress by ensuring the proper maintenance of academic records from the first contact with each student all the way to graduation from the University. The Registrar’s Office also facilitates the academic processes for all academic departments and the administration of academic needs at the University. My responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of our academic records.

I provide students with current student records regarding all aspects of the progress towards the student’s degree completion and award. I’m the contact for all course scheduling information and any changes related to course registration, including transfers. To that end, I serve both past and present students by coordinating the evaluation of all incoming transfer course credits and send transcripts out to other institutions upon request.Â
