Tuition and Fees

At Adam Smith University, we believe that no student should ever have to go into debt to afford a college degree. We do everything we can to keep our tuition rates as low as possible. We pioneered the concept of a virtual university. Instead of lecturing from fancy classrooms nestled within a multimillion dollar campus, Adam Smith University delivers content from our professors directly to students through a modern online learning platform.  

This allows the university to provide a world class education for far less than one might expect. Our savings are reflected in the lower than average tuition. Adam Smith University makes finishing a college degree more accessible to all with its affordable tuition rates and flexible options. Students can pay for classes individually as they progress through the program or enroll in a package of courses for more savings. The total program tuition cost depends on which program students enroll in and the tuition options he or she chooses. 

Per Course Tuition

Students choosing to pay per course are charged $200 USD per course (approximately $1356 TTD). Because most courses are worth 3 semester credits, this equates to about $66.67 USD per credit hour. Students who enroll using this option take one course at a time, with no further commitments.

Per Semester Tuition

Students choosing to pay per semester are charged $800 USD per semester (approximately $5423 TTD). Because most courses are worth 3 semester credits, this equates to about $53.33 USD per credit hour. Students who enroll using this option may enroll in five courses, taking one course at a time, with no further commitments.

Per Year Tuition

Students choosing to pay per semester are charged $1200 USD per semester (approximately $8134 TTD). Because most courses are worth 3 semester credits, this equates to $40 USD per credit hour. Students who enroll using this option may enroll in ten courses, taking one course at a time, with no further commitments.

Total Estimated Tuition

The Associates Degree programs require 60 credits, or two academic years. Therefore, Associates Degree students paying per course, at full tuition rates, can expect to pay $4000 USD (approximately $27114 TTD) for the program. In contrast, Associates Degree students paying annual tuition, can expect to pay just $2,400 (approximately $16268 TTD) for the program.

The Bachelor’s Degree programs require 120 credits, or four academic years. Therefore, Bachelor’s Degree students paying per course, at full tuition rates, can expect to pay $8000 USD (approximately $54228 TTD) for the program. In contrast, Bachelor’s Degree students paying annual tuition, can expect to pay just $4800 (approximately $32537 TTD) for the program.

Fees

In addition to the tuition costs, the university charges the following additional fees, for services rendered, unless otherwise waived.

  • Admission – $340 TTD (Approximately $50 USD)
  • Program Change – $340 TTD (Approximately $50 USD)
  • Program Extension – $300 TTD (Approximately $44 USD)
  • Readmission – $340 TTD (Approximately $50 USD) 
  • Transcript Mailing – $170 TTD (Approximately $25 USD)
  • Diploma Replacement – $340 TTD (Approximately $24 USD)

Cancellation Policy 

Adam Smith University is committed to delivering high quality education. But, if for any reason the student wishes to withdraw, he or she may do so by submitting to the Registrar a written request to withdraw from the program and cancel his or her enrollment. Previously paid tuition is non-refundable, but a student who withdraws from his or her program and cancels enrollment shall have no further financial obligation to the university.
